Naturally, the media is full of shit on this.  It had nothing to do with a payback plot.  Jan Holstrom the inmate who attacked Manson has been charged since this happened with attacking another fellow inmate at Tascadero State Hospital where he’s been housed since the attack on Manson.  There was another attack on a fellow inmate prior to the one on Manson also.  Holstrom is a mentally ill person who focuses his attention on someone for whatever reason and attacks.  That is why he’s locked away in a mental facility now.  No payback plot.

Is Jan still locked up? I know he was paroled and killed someone. Someone said that he may have been let go yet again.

And this most certainly was not a pay-back plot. Jan was most certainly mentally ill.
